This is an image of a lot of naked people with all of there arms around each other in Mexico City. This image uses depth of field, space, point of view, distance of subject, and repetition to create a visually appealing picture. The image uses a extended depth of field to show everyone in focus. The artist also filled all of the space on the ground with naked people. The artist also selected a further distance from the subjects to lesson the details in individuals being nude but instead on the fact that everyone is nude in the image, but not in gory detail. The artist also uses a higher up angle of view to show the buildings and to show the crowed of people going into the distance. Repetition is the strongest element in this image. The repetition of the people in the image creates a strong texture that covers more than half the frame.
This image can be interpreted to show that people should bond together. I take this from the image because all of the people in the image are holding each other in kind of a one for all manner. The image shows people in there simplest form, nude, and in public where nudity is not normally accepted. Boned this he shows men and women together naked in the same image with no separation between them. Photographing them from behind also takes away the gender of the individual people. So in the end this photograph shows something that without the photographers planning could have never been seen. This many people would not gather together in an area such as this and get nude and face all face the same direction. It is a great image that shows so many naked people telling one from another is impossible when the eye moves deeper in the image.
